On June 7th, Clayton County Vice-Chairman Ralph attended DeCosta: A Legacy of Leadership. This event paid tribute to Benjamin DeCosta's for over a decade of leadership at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Under DeCosta's watch, the airport launched a $6 billion-plus capital improvement program, which included a new fifth runway, the Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. International Terminal, a new rental car center and upgrades to the central passenger terminal complex.
Ralph presented a proclamation on behalf of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners honoring Mr. DeCosta. The Vice-Chairman was joined by Chairman John Eaves of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, Chairman Eldrin Bell of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, Mayor Kasim Reed of the City of Atlanta, and Mayor Jack Longino of the city of College Park.
